The Gypsy Magic Community Garden Project is a "small but mighty" community-based garden used for health benefits on many levels. The garden is a focus point of several of our programs. It provides food, a place of learning, growth and giving back. Several programs are offered and held in the garden and it has been thoughtfully designed to be accessible for disabled visitors.
Volunteers interested in helping and maintaining the garden project are always welcome and will share in the harvest as a part of our co-op based system. Please see our upcoming volunteer projects below.

The "Back to Nature" Garden Program for Adults

The "Back to Nature" educational Garden Program for Adults promotes a quality of life and discovery through "being" in nature and the grounding benefits of interaction with gardening in the earth. With technology, and the stresses of life at an all time high pace, many people are being pulled farther away from their roots in nature. Adults and generations of children are losing the connection of growing their own food, knowing where it comes from, and even forgetting or not knowing how to cook nutritious and health beneficial foods. Getting into nature and gardening is proven to be both beneficial and therapeutic on many levels.
The "Back to Nature" Garden Programs for Adults promotes learning how to garden, how to grow, produce, and harvest organic nutritious food and reduce family food budgets. Participants will learn about small space gardening methods, conservation techniques, harvest seasonal garden produce and enjoy a cooking demonstration and tasting of the harvest meal. Learn useful gardening techniques while having the opportunity to socialize, exercise, and relax in the natural and peaceful of the garden and horse farm surroundings.
The class size limited to 8 participants.
