Our Outreach Gypsy & Drum Horses

Picture
Starfire's The High Roller
"Yahtzee" Is a wonderful 2014 Gypsy Vanner gelding owned and loved by Roxanne Bishop, and co-handled by Stacy Sutton. Stacy and Yahtzee have twice earned the highest "complex"  rating as a Pet Partners registered pair and Roxanne will be testing in 2021. Yahtzee was bred and raised by Starfire Gypsy Horses. As a young foal he attended events where he demonstrated a very unique connection with people early on. Stacy saw this special therapeutic quality (and more) in this special horse and purchased Yahtzee as a yearling. Yahtzee is the founding member of Gypsy Magic. Along with his busy outreach work, Yahtzee is an accomplished Western Dressage show and breed demonstration horse. Yahtzee is an ambassador of the Gypsy horse that "does it all".

Blazen Bay
"Blazen" is a beautiful 14.2 red bay Gypsy Vanner gelding owned and loved by Cindy Cutter. Blazen is our past feral neglect case turned to outreach horse and touches many he meets with his life success story. He is kind and very curious but also cautious. He brings out a gentleness in the people he meets and loves that attention. Blazen
is a wonderful member of our Equine Assisted Coaching and Outreach programs.

Deerinwater's Glimmer
"Glimmer" is a gorgeous 2014 black 16 hand "Drum Horse" mare. (50% Gypsy Vanner and 50% Clydesdale) Glimmer started her outreach work with her outreach work debut at our 2019 Benefit event. Glimmer is a Western Dressage show horse with trainer Stacy Sutton and a trained carriage driving horse with her owner David Rude. Glimmer is involved in many of our outreach functions. She is the founding member of our Equine Assisted Coaching program and serves veteran's with her work. David plans on offering a Gypsy Magic "driving therapy" program in the future.  We hope to raise funding for a wheelchair accessible carriage. Glimmer really is an ambassador of the Drum horse that "does it all".

Prince Bentley of Fantasy Feather
"Bentley" is a darling young 2020 currently black and white to turn grey gelding. With his smaller stature, very quiet and gentle demeanor we think Bentley will be a perfect addition to our therapy horse program. Bentley is currently in training for this purpose and will be Pet Partners tested in Fall of 2021. Bentley is a wonderful member of our Equine Assisted Coaching and Outreach programs.

Vineyard Oak's Ri D Croi (Gaelic for "King of Heart")
Ri (pronounced "Ree") is a handsome young 2018 chestnut with flaxen mane and tail gelding. With his fun sense of humor, gentle demeanor, and gentle soul, Ri is a wonderful member of our Equine Assisted Coaching and Outreach programs.

Makana (Hawaiian for "Gift")
Makana is a beautiful 2012 14.1 hand Chestnut and White piebald Gypsy Vanner Mare. Makana entered our program as part of our Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Re-home program. She was adopted and due to life changes was back with us in 2021. Makana has found her permanent home with Gypsy Magic and is a wonderful member of our Equine Assisted Coaching and Outreach programs.

Excalibur Elite Equine's Entertainer
"Bert" is a stunning 2012 14.1 hand Gypsy Vanner gelding owned and loved by Judith Malkasian. Bert is smaller in stature, kind, curious, and a fine example of a wonderful temperament well suited for outreach work. Bert is a founding member of Gypsy Magic and a true ambassador of the breed.
