Participate and Volunteer
Volunteering at Gypsy Magic is much more than a regular donation of time and service. It involves becoming part of a community of service dedicated to joyful life experiences and growth through the magic of the Gypsy Horse. Volunteers participate in all aspects of activity, and do so as individuals, members of work groups, families and participants in community service programs.

Volunteers can contribute to Gypsy Magic in many ways:
Program Assistance
Program volunteers are utilized in a variety of ways based on their experience. Some of these tasks include: Horse handling, human contact and outreach, Gypsy Horse outreach prep and management before, during, and after the outreach sessions, taking photos of participants, etc.
General Horse Care and the Tender Loving Care "TLC" Program
Volunteers work with barn staff to help feed and care for the horses and the facility.
The TLC program is offered to consistent weekly based volunteers willing to commit to a specified, consistent period of time each week. After 50 volunteer learning hours, volunteers are eligible to provide "TLC" to a special Gypsy horse and may be eligible to help handle that specific horse for outreach work.

Groups/Community Service Hours
Groups such as corporate groups, youth groups, or community service organizations may support Gypsy Magic with a one-day volunteer effort, usually assisting with facility projects or special events.
Facility/Farm/Garden
Volunteers help with the general maintenance, repairs and improvements of the facility, including fencing and special projects.
Service Donation
Do you have a specific service you can offer the Gypsy Magic Equine Outreach? Looking for a fun way to give back to your community? Your donation of a service can make a huge impact on the people in our community. We are always seeking contractors, handyman, veterinarian, farrier work etc. that can help us grow this wonderful program. Volunteers who possess skills or professional/technical experience that may benefit Gypsy Magic, such as photography, graphic design, computer knowledge, etc., are also encouraged to contact us.
Special Events
Volunteers serve on an event committee and assist with production during the various fundraisers, off-site outreach events, and other special events that Gypsy Magic holds and/or participates in each year.
