The Garden Project is a "small but mighty" education-based garden used for health benefits on many levels. The garden is a feature of our joyful encounter program. It provides food, a place of learning, growth and giving back. The garden has been designed to be accessible for disabled visitors.
Volunteers interested in helping and maintaining the garden project are always welcome and will share in the harvest as a part of our co-op based system.

The Benefits of the Garden Project
The Garden Project promotes a quality of life and discovery through "being" in nature and the grounding benefits of interaction with gardening in the earth. With technology, and the stresses of life at an all time high pace, many people are being pulled farther away from their roots in nature. Adults and generations of children are losing the connection of growing their own food, knowing where it comes from, and even forgetting or not knowing how to cook nutritious and health beneficial foods. Getting into nature and gardening is proven to be both beneficial and therapeutic on many levels.
Learn useful gardening techniques while having the opportunity to socialize, exercise, and relax in the natural and peaceful of the garden, forest, and horse surroundings.
